1. Who we are

These terms apply to junk removal, rubbish collection and clearance services provided by KLEINMOTION LTD, trading as Paphos Junk Removals (“we”, “us”), Kato Paphos, Paphos, Cyprus, registration number HE 480171, phone +357 96 131099.

2. Quotes and how the price is calculated

Quotes are given in writing (normally on WhatsApp) based on the photos, description and access details you send us. A quote is free and without obligation. The price is calculated from the volume and weight of the items, the access (floors, lift, parking distance), the type of waste and the disposal fees that apply to it, and the distance travelled. Quotes to consumers are total prices including VAT, labour, loading, transport and disposal. A quote covers the items and the access shown; if on arrival the load, access or type of waste differs materially from what was shown (for example additional rooms, more floors, hazardous materials or double the volume), we will tell you before starting and agree a revised price, or you can cancel free of charge before we start work.

3. Booking and cancellation

A booking is confirmed when we agree a date and time in writing. You can cancel or move a booking free of charge up to the evening before the agreed day. If our crew arrives and cannot carry out the job because of circumstances on your side (no access, nobody present without prior arrangement, items no longer available), we may charge a call-out fee, which we state in the booking confirmation. We may reschedule for severe weather, road closures or vehicle breakdown and will tell you as early as possible; you may then cancel free of charge.

4. Your right to cancel (consumers)

If you are a consumer and we agree the job at a distance (WhatsApp, phone or e-mail), you have the right to withdraw from the contract within 14 days of the day the booking is confirmed, without giving a reason, by sending us a clear statement on WhatsApp or by e-mail or post. Because most jobs take place within those 14 days, we only start work inside the withdrawal period if you expressly ask us to; by asking us to carry out the job on the agreed date you acknowledge that once the job has been fully completed you lose the right to withdraw. If you withdraw after work has started but before it is complete, you pay a proportionate amount for the work done.

Model withdrawal form: “To KLEINMOTION LTD, Paphos, Cyprus (WhatsApp +357 96 131099): I hereby give notice that I withdraw from my contract for the service ordered on [date]. Name, address, date.”

5. What we take and what we do not take

We collect household, garden, garage and office items and small loads of renovation debris. We do not accept asbestos, chemicals, paint, solvents, oils, gas bottles, medical waste, batteries in bulk or other hazardous waste. If such items are discovered during a job we will leave them in place and advise you where they can be disposed of. You confirm that you own the items or are entitled to dispose of them (for example as landlord or executor).

6. Your responsibilities

Please make sure the items you want removed are clearly identified, that anything you want to keep is separated, and that we have safe access. We are not responsible for items handed over by mistake once they have left the property, but we will do our best to recover them if you tell us on the same day. Please remove personal data from electronic devices before handing them over.

7. Disposal

Reusable items may be passed on for reuse, recyclable materials are separated for recycling, and the remainder is taken to recycling points and municipal facilities appropriate for that type of waste in the Paphos district. Ownership of the items passes to us when they are loaded. On request we provide a photo of the cleared space.

8. Payment

The agreed price is payable on completion of the job, by cash or bank transfer unless agreed otherwise in writing. For consumers the quoted price is the total price including VAT; for business customers we quote net and add VAT at the statutory rate. An invoice or receipt is issued for every job.

9. Liability

Our crew takes care to protect floors, door frames and walls. We are insured for the clearance work we carry out (details on request). We are liable for damage caused by our negligence, up to the value of the damage proven. We are not liable for pre-existing damage, for damage unavoidable in removing oversized items through narrow access which you asked us to proceed with, or for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, and your statutory rights as a consumer are not affected.

10. Complaints, law and disputes

Complaints: message us on +357 96 131099; we acknowledge within 2 working days and reply within 14 days. Consumers may also contact the Consumer Protection Service (consumer.gov.cy). These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Cyprus. The courts of Paphos have jurisdiction, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer rights you have, including the right of consumers resident in another EU state to bring proceedings in their home courts.
