Garden and green waste is what we do here
The coastal north is villa country, and villas here come with gardens that grow faster than anyone expects. Washingtonia palms drop fronds that would fill a car boot each; olive and citrus trees need a hard prune every couple of years; oleander hedges turn into walls. Add the pool terrace — sun-bleached loungers, a parasol that snapped in the February wind, split terracotta pots, a bag of grit that solidified — and a routine tidy-up turns into more volume than a household bin will ever swallow.
We come with an open van and load the lot: loose branches, bagged clippings, soil, broken pots, old irrigation pipe, rotten decking boards and the furniture that is past saving. Green waste goes to composting and green waste facilities, metal and plastic to recycling. Before we leave we rake the loading area so the driveway does not look like the job happened.
Garages, storerooms and fifteen years of accumulation
Peyia and Coral Bay hold the biggest concentration of long-term expat households in the district, and a garage in a house someone has lived in since 2008 tells that story honestly: the exercise bike, two dead printers, three suitcases with broken zips, the beach umbrellas, the first sofa, tins of paint whose colour nobody remembers, and boxes labelled in a marker that has faded off the cardboard.
We clear these in one visit and sort as we go. Furniture that someone else can genuinely use goes for donation rather than disposal. Fridges, freezers and air-conditioning units are handled as e-waste and taken to recycling points — never dumped on a verge, which unfortunately still happens on the tracks above Sea Caves. What is left goes to disposal at recycling points and municipal facilities, and you get the floor swept.
Gates, slopes and long driveways
Access here is the opposite problem to Paphos town. There are no narrow lanes to worry about, but there are electric gates, intercoms, steep driveways above Peyia and long approaches at Sea Caves where the house is a hundred metres from the road. Occasionally there is a gravel track that ends in a turning circle a large van cannot use.
None of it stops us — we just want to know in advance so we bring the right vehicle and enough hands. When you send your photos, add a line about the access: gate code, slope, whether the van can reach the terrace. If you are unsure, a photo of the driveway from the road tells us everything we need.
Owners who are not on the island
A large share of the properties between Chloraka and Sea Caves are holiday homes or long-term rentals managed from abroad. We are set up for that. The quote comes from photos, agreement happens over WhatsApp, key access is arranged with your neighbour, cleaner or agent, and you receive before-and-after photos so you can see exactly what left the property.
If a tenancy is ending or a property is going on the market, the job is usually bigger than a single van load — that is a full or part house clearance, and we handle those across this whole stretch of coast, including garage and garden in the same visit. Whatever the size, the quote is agreed from the photos before we arrive and does not change afterwards.

Questions from Coral Bay
Do you take palm cuttings and garden waste from a villa garden?
Yes, and it is the single most common job we do on this stretch of coast. Palm fronds, olive and citrus prunings, hedge trimmings, bagged soil, broken pots and dead pool loungers all go in the van together. Loose or bagged makes no difference to us — we rake the area before we leave.
My villa is behind an electric gate on a long driveway. Is that a problem?
No. Give us the gate code or arrange for the key holder to meet us, and we reverse the van up to the house so the carrying distance is short. Steep driveways in Peyia and above Sea Caves are normal for us; we just allow a little extra time.
Can you clear a garage while I am not in Cyprus?
Regularly. Many owners here are only on the island part of the year. Send photos from your last visit or ask your neighbour or property manager to take them, agree the quote with us over WhatsApp, arrange key access, and we send you photos of the empty, swept garage when we are finished.
